Like a lot of sites along the wall, any evidence of it in my section was buried or long gone, lost in a thousand + years of building and infrastructure. Which made me look to the constants, the print it’s based on the natural / geological landscape and the star positions that would be visible with the naked eye from my site at midnight on 29th July…which effectively are the same this year as 1900 years ago…
