There are no visible remains of the wall, partly due to quarrying however archaeologists believe that underneath the woods and the military wall, is a preserved milecastle. If anyone could see it, they would see the squared-off stones typical of Roman building. Likley they are covered in dark mud and silt. A field of pink grasses grows above this and sway in the wind.
